Wonderful peaceful tribute to our fallen soldiers.
My favorite place to visit every time I go to Wagga. It's walking distance from the malls and is in the main shopping street. Ducks and big white Cockatoos can be hand fed with bread and great to take the children or a group for photos and picnics. Also it's a very humbling experience with being the war heros
I love visiting the gardens there is a play area for kids and a lake to feed the ducks or a simple stroll in the park
Victory memorial Garden is well kept and lovely, with a tree resplendent in fairy lights.
Beautifully kept gardens. Nice play equipment (however, I do miss the old train playground). It has an amphitheater/stage with the potential for productions, music, lives shows and other events. The memorial gardens has sites which show homage to those who fought for the Australian people at times of conflict. The ANZAC memorial that borders Fitzmaurice St contains names of soldiers from Wagga who fought for Australia and is quite a solemn, moving location.
